VertexFX Online Backup option

Hybrid Solutions is glad to launch the VertexFX online backup option for Enterprise Edition Systems. Online Backup option is a plug-in client/server applications of two parts:

1- Mirroring Client Application that runs at the primary server which detects any new transaction at the primary server and push it to the standby server.

2- Mirroring Server Application that runs at the standby server and receives the coming data from the primary server and reflect it to the standby database.

This process is configurable and can be performed each one second or more. In case a certain failure encounters the primary server, all what should be done is pressing the START butting for the Standby VertexFX Gateway application and all clients can use it by login to it through the second login server option at their SERVER field in the client/backoffice terminals.

The two servers are not necessarily to be in the same LAN and can be connected through internet in different geographical locations for disaster recovery strategies as this online mirroring is using a high and fast technology to be performed in that reliable behavior.

As the mirroring option requires some core technical structure that is available in the Enterprise Edition (EE), Mirroring option can be enabled for EE systems as for now.
